I had the same in france, about half way through an 2 missing nuts..... i didn't realise but it seemend to slightly knock unless i went faster! .. so i did :? i only noticed when we stopped for everyone to catch up! but its the nuts loosing up, just enough for it to move, and once the rim holes oval...

I honestly cant see why not? as long as the fluid can get in too push the piston? standard zip/vespa ones work both ways!

when I did a disc for my mk1 t5 used a lml hub, looks fine eddy bullet sorted me for this, think about £40? saves arseing around changing the headset to cable, and then you can sell the 5 star hub!

my tuppence is ...cut the panels and fit filter! :) I tried a loads of filters under panel never worked then no filter at all, but nice and clean circle in the middle of underside panel but muck and grit around it(so must have been taking in some?) then tried flat pancake filter with small holes in ...

completly ignore the marks on the headset! that is just a guide! :D close your eyes and click through the gears if everthing feels right, then adjust the cables to fit by undoing the cable trunnions(solderless nipples in selector box) then move the headset marks in to line,then pull the slack throug...

It could be that the piston is in the wrong way?? very easy to do on a smallie.....so I'm told! :roll: :D
