.....or if you gotta use the Circlip system fit it and put a tiny blob of loctite on circlip to stop it pinging off, just make sure your linkage still moves!!!

Hello Grumpy, it shimmed at the smallest clearance acceptable 0.07mm which i was pleased about as it will mean that it has plenty of wear margin and i will be running in the whole engine as its brand new componants all the way through. SORRY....for late reply!!!.....i managed to get it shimmed up with am MB undersized shim 1.70 with no use for the hub end shims (of course as said these would have opposite effect).... for information both Cam Lam & Beedspeed have even thinner shims

Evening gents, i,m having a evil time trying to Shim my gear box on my TS1 build......set up is Brand new Indian GP gearbox with MB Racetour Layshaft, new rear hub bearing(as well as all other bearings)......its all in a Servetta case with an Italian LI end plate(not got the original)......i,m down ...

Good luck to the maufacturer and those who backed it, but even the Mighty(& very Sucessfull) Tino Satchi had a go at doing this as well as others and never managed to get it right!!!....

Fair enough Soosh but the Rapido HAS an Iron lining and is just as cheap to repair(rebore) but i agree Iron,s still cheaper if he do'sent have to buy the Rapido kit in the first place

Very interesting gentlemen, i have the same problem and have chosen to enter frame with cables at the side on steering tube/frame joining point but because of TS1 kit i have exited above engine mount( avoiding carb),its a very difficult choice and must be made on each projects needs...pictures do he...
