Cool a lot of hard work there. Does it pull the gearing with such long exhuast timing? Thats pretty tall with the extra gearing from the tyre.
The crank is interesting-is that off the shelf at S&S?

yes it was "hard work" except the custom paintjob  ( brush ) , but i work in an office and i need the garagework to keep my head clean ( i hope you understand what i mean ) - working the hole day with a computer sucks - building bikes in the evening rule.

the whole scooter took about 3 month - Jan 2 2010 - märz 30 2010 - ( only in the evenings after work and sometimes the whole weekend ) inkl. the old engine.
bulding the compete new engine after the complete crash in april took about 5 day´s. this winter the scooter gets a fine paintjob, a little bit more power, a new exhaust. this scooter is never ready - i´m still some changing parts .. it´s a daily driver

gearing:
it´s really no problem - the new extra long third gear from drt ( one tooth less ) and the short gear from the t5 works exellent together. the scooter is much lighter than a original px - my weight is about 80 kilogramms - maybe heavier persons have problems with this enginesetup

tyre - and gearing:

i don´t think the amount of the backwheel is much more than a normal 3,5 tyre

here i made a little topic in the german scooteroforum about this kit

http://www.germanscooterforum.de/findpo ... 15584.html

this shop offers the kit

i made a little misstake - i wanted more power ( 2 weeks ago ): after porting the cylinder nearly 140/196 driving trough town sucks. the carb-setting wasn´t good at all - i lost about 4-6 hp

look here - germany rotenburg 3. oktober 2010 - dragracing :

Image

my run - at 0:41 seconds:

now down on 134/195 - the power came back, but not as good as before, i need a new cylinder - carbsetting now: 35 mikuni with 57 needle 2. clip, mainjet 290, "other jet" 17,5 - the engine runs now till 9600 upm and have about 36 hp with a better bandwitch than you see above - a new dynorun will be posted in a few days

i think best timings for this machine is 131/195
