Rear hub and SIP rims

What size is the hole the press in stud came out of?

Usually with metric, you can do thread size - pitch for the drill so drill 9mm, and you can use a first or second since it goes through and they're easier to get going, you only really need plug for blind holes.

make it easy on yourself and buy a uni hub from corrado it will be the safest option...drill and tap by all means and see how you go.. you could use it for a future build or...

I think you may have a point.

Its probably worth buying one to negate any future problems.

I bought a new rear hub from rayspeed last year after the splines on my jet hub gave up,I think it was £34.95 and had threaded studs.They use them on there bikes and said they av no probs with them. ;)

Just about to order a set of these rims is it just the rear hub that needs the longer studs or front hub also

I haven't even looked yet, but I think its the front too.

I have a disc on too, which provides me with another opportunity to bugger something else up :|

It's both that need longer studs. It's to do with the thickness of the wheel they have to make to give a well to have a chance of getting the tyre on and off
