To have a better comparison on the New clubman,
At the 1/8 mile sprint at Lincoln on Saturday Matthew Clarke had his TT3 there:
set up 60mm crank = 230cc
4.6:1 gear ratio
30mm Dellorto
Well known expansion box
Engine run in

Best run 65 mph

My TT3
225cc
4.6:1 gear ratio
30mm Dellorto
New Clubman
65 miles on the clock running rich

2nd run 63 mph

well bugger me!! didnt know you was there Ron,, i was the dummy in the coppers helmet with the speed gun on the finish line,, what a great day,, would love to do it again,,

i put a liner in a 225 rapido with a bridge like yours,, braized a brass heat sink to the iron to take the heat away from the bridge, MB remote reed 30mm pwk with power jet, stretch the air filter rubber over it and sat a sponge filter on top, early suzuki ts250 piston, outboard yamaha rod to accomodate the 18mm pin, li150 box standard sprokets goes like snot off a stick , looks a cracking kit your avanti,, well done

That's the trouble coppers all look the same to me now, I was in disguise too, being an old fart.

Will have to meet up at a sprint somewhere.

I managed between 64 and 65 mph at sprint, not bad for an engine built on Thursday, ridden to Lincoln Friday, sprinted 7 times on Saturday and thrashed home on Sunday

Hopefully when dyno'd should hit the 70 mph barrier on the next sprint watch out for the Lowestoft Lambretta Works Special :D

Any chance of posting results Tarmac Tickler ?
