I've done about 400 miles on mine ,but as yet I'm not 100% with it,could be down to jetting but not sure yet.
Kev.
Mmmmm.......................Picture of reed valve fitted to Avanti.............
It is an LTH Vers 3.0 which is cast alloy NOT cnc'd Fitted to My Avanti Kit yes I did trim some fin's / reed manifold / engine mount...................Strangely enough I also had the Ver's 2.0 cnc'd which was fitted to my Rapido "250" that motor has a 110 rod on a 60 mm crank with a 3mm packer ( put's cylinder in different position.........Food for thought when I fit 60mm crank on Avanti)...

.. That got superceded by the MBD reed Valve known as the shorty on MBD's web site.......So the LTH ver's 2.0 got fitted to an Li 125 fitted with an AF 175 kit bored to 185.......... That caused mega fettling and offset cones to clear...........Just shows how different tolerances can be on Lambretta's LOL............I also attempted to get the MBD reed valve to fit to the Avanti but no Luck at the moment..........But................... with a 110 rod 3mm packer and offset cones it just may fit........The performance of the MBD is streets ahead off the LTH but that is my opinion ..............
Hope that clears up any doubts as to whether a reed valve can be fitted
