they are a little unit so to speak that fit in the place of the original actuator that goes in the hole
they rely on a very good circlip groove and fitment to be extra safe
there is a little lip seal that make the seal and works very well
if used with a hidden master cylinder you can almost keep the original looks
worth doing but you will need piping and a master cylinder of some description

thats what i want, the orginal look for my tv!
as master cylinder i use a TPH cylinder
this cyninders are working very well

for example, the TPH-Cylinder in my serveta
my only fear for the scootrs conversion was the seal
most of the english conversions i have seen use a simple "O-ring"
and not a squarely seal like its used in motocycles...
but if theres a lip seal, everything shut be good...
PS
sorry for my english and greats from italy

any pictures from the scootrs cylinder?
they have a seperately screw to bring the air out?
there is not much space under the cap...

Hi all,
I had a Sccotrs one fitted on one of my bikes. Was OK, but felt was not as sharp at braking than say a TAffspeed converted disk I had.
Did not want to modify original disk in anyway so could convert back if I wanted.
Scooter LoopY John (or one of the other guys on here) does a conversion that just uses the circlip to hold it in.
I have now installed and am using this one in preference to the ScootRS one, as it gives me better braking.
I suspect its due to the larger area on the back of the cyclinder that engages with the disk pad (anyway thats what I put it down to).
Good luck.
