steering lock removal / replacement

i have no key for the steering lock on the jet, how easy are they to remove and replace?

any recomendations on where to buy a replacement from?

Small locating screw inside of headset, remove and the lock will come out. as for replacement most dealers would have i should imagine.

Also lock tongue is located under a small round alloy blanking plate which needs to be prised out. When the lock mecanism is being removed, there will be a small spring and plunger underneath. Remove carefully as can fall down inside the horncast/ legshield gap. Replacements are available often as a complete kit.

For S3 / GP Indian ones are about a fiver, Italian about £15. I've got both plus the screw, plunger, spring and cap.
Sometimes they're a barsteward to remove without having a key to use to pull it out.
