Two questions:

Is it possible to fit the later extended engine silent blocks to a series 2 engine in a SPANISH S2 ?

Has anyone manged to fit front suspension dampers to a SPANISH S2 whilst retaining the turning mudguard ?

Yes and yes

I fitted Dampers (BGM on Mine quite tight under the mudguard to get on and off but managed :D

As Toddy said.

Spanish casings are no different when it comes to silent blocks.

And the dampers on the turning mudguard, yes me and Eibar managed it on the Winter TV2

They used the clamp on top brackets - Beedspeed do them although I can't see why you couldn't use the welded bracket.
Did you have to do that?

Did you not find the mudguard holding brackets obstructed the weld on damper brackets ?

Even the clamp on ones take a bit of fiddling but it is possible.
Did you have to do that?

I plan to use non adjustable bgm ones or escorts (undecided at the moment) on my Spanish s2. Does anyone know of any particular problems using either of these?

I had those bgm ones on mine. Use the mudguard to trap the nut against the damper mount and screw in from the other side ;-)
