Hi all, does the RB25 go well with an Indian GP box? It's a Standard RB25 with 34mm Dellorto and NK Race pipe. AF recommend a final drive of 4.60. I have spare sprockets and chains so getting the optimum final drive should be easy. I have a Cyclone fitted at the moment but want to fit that into my RB20. What results are people getting? Any comments good and bad very welcome. Thanks in advance.

Depends on a few factors, overall weight, exhaust and how u ride it. 4.6 might be ok if ur 11 stone no rally gear on the back and on the motorway, but hit a hill and it will most probably struggle. Id try it and see at least then u will know for yourself

ive had a gp200 gearbox in my rb250 and i worked fine, i have now gone back to an af close ratio box which uses the same 3rd and 4th gear as an indian gp200, just has a longer first gear, then a small jump to second and third, jump 3rd to 4th is same as the indian gp200 which is small anyway, i would recomend this setup helps to keep on the pipe, and kind to your clutch, sprocket sizes will depend on your riding style and weight, or ride 2 up.

It'd be for a 12 stone rider mainly short blasts with the occasional longer run. I have plenty of front and rear sprocket and chains I can use. It's all about the final drive I suppose.
I have run GP200 gearboxes in my TS1`s over the years and found them very good with the added advantage that they tend to be easier on the clutch, go for 19 x 46 which equate to roughly 4.8, as said before depends on your weight, luggage carrying etc. 4.6 you may struggle a bit if you are 15 stone +luggage
Keep on keepin on

4.6 might be OK with the torque-based rally pipe, but with teh race pipe i would recommend 4.8 as the lowest option, 5.0 would pull better...and the race pipe has the revs to give the speed still.
