I am about to fit a vacuum fuel pump for my 220 Malossi, running a heavily modified Si 24/24G carb. Anyone done this before?

Not on a standard carb, but you will need a bypass or the pressure will overcome the float needle and lead to flooding.

Thanks gents. I have a Mikuni pump with a 5mm bore pulse inlet. The hosetail i got from SiP is a Polini item with only a 3.7mm bore. I am thinking match the hosetail bore to the pump inlet size? Any experience or views greatly appreciated.
