tank has to come out I'm afraid. Easy job to do, disconnect fuel pipe from carb, remove grommets from sight glass and fuel tap, remove wires from fuel sender, undo 4 bolts holding tank and lift it out, lift rear first then pull back to get sight glass and fuel tap clear of frame....and bob's yer aunties live in lover
to refit is the same as removal, tip that might be helpful, I tie a 2 foot length of lockwire to the fuel tap and feed it through the hole in the frame before I start to help get tap back through the frame

When I had a PX200 I broke that glass 3 times!
Get the fibre washer with the replacement; it doesn't come with it.
About a 20 minute job in all but you need a big open end spanner on it or pipe grips.
