So I've come out to my lammy tonight. Gone to kick it over to start. But it's really stiff... Almost like its in gear. (Can assure you it isn't). So obviously it won't start. I can't even kick it over properly it's that stiff. Any ideas??

get the back wheel up off ground and see if you can turn the wheel if not you are going to open her up
Pull in the clutch, the kicky should push down with virtually no effort. If it does? The trouble is deeper in.

Front sprocket bolt may have worked loose and be catching on the side casing.
Also.....whip the plug out and give it a try.......i'd take the flywheel cover off and check everythings ok on that side.
last resort....side casing off

sorry- what is your problem? You are apparently new to scootering and it may well be you are not used to the "feel" of a Lambretta on kick over.S2CUF wrote:Bristol mod. Not sure why you always have to put divvy clever c**t comments on people's posts.... Or is it just mine. Either way. I'd love to meet up...
I won't bother offering any further advise to you if you feel that way.
If you look back on my posts you will see that I don't put "divvy clever **** comments" but try to help.
And why should I wish to meet up with you?
