Lambrettas as we all know have for many years used many different conrod and pistons .
Who knows of any large frame motors that use exotic rods and pistons ?
Theres always Mr Broadhursts Suzuki/Rotax kit but what other rods could we fit ?
Not just 200 cases but 125/150 also .
i have a horrible feeling.things are going to go bang

Suzuki gt 750 piston was used in p2 225 conversions - it was the left hand piston that was used I think

I've done a suzuki ts185 piston in a t5 polini barrel

Never messed about with rods on vespa

What kind of conrod you are looking for?

Just one sample of customized crankshafts with an 110 mm, 125 mm and a 143 mm conrod for large frames :-) !

This is an interesting read on the subject - http://www.scootercentral.net/forums/vi ... &t=15818&h with some thoughts on the effect of a longer rod on case volume/compression.

My perfect crank would be a 57mm p2 bell shaped crank with a 115mm or 116 mm conrod. Im putting a gilera runner 172 kit on a px 125 case using a 13 mm spacer with the transfers cut in it !
