Thought it had to be a 'stretched 82' for 20/46. Ref 19/46 I had to use an 81 link or reduce your 82 to 81 link might be cheaper than buying new sprockets.

Any other thoughts from anyone else. :?: :?: :?: :?:

19 46 on a 82 link chain does go when everything is new, but it seems to me to be the slackest fit of all the combinations esp compared to 18 47 with a 82 link chain

or 16 47 or 17 46 on a 81 link chain

we just did a 20/47 and it was very tight so should be ok with 20/46 .

have fitted 46x19 sprockets with a new IWIS 82 chain and all was fine, have done about 300 miles on new set up and had the chain case removed for chroming and the chain is as loose as hell. Any recommendations on what to do? i have a standard ts1 top end with a JL3 pipe so will consider changing sprockets but need to keep correct ratio

Did you you check your sprocket heights when you put it back together? If they are out it can wreck a chain real quick.
