Hello mate, how's it going?

Haven't changed the petrol yet, but it's all I can think of trying so I'll give that a go.

Two different 30mm dellortos.

I'm trying to ake a connection with why it happened so quickly. It had been running perfectly, crisp and clean. I start it up, second kick revs perfect then 50 yards on it dropped to a splutter in an instant and it hasn't run since. It tries to start and I get an occasional 2 send rev then it dies.

Think a pressure test might be in order......could be seals or head......or quite a few other things

I'm thinking more of an electrical issue here possibly low tension coil. Even if you have acceptable readings on stator mate , they can still fail, what make is it ?
Worth banging a spare known good one on to try?

Hope not Mick, but it's heading that way..

Baz, just talking with a mate at the minute about this and the spare stator will get thrown on next to see.

Bilko I too think it may the stator breaking down. Had the same issue earlier this year, it would start occasionally for a few seconds then cut straight out. Changed everything then finally the stator and sorted. I think the LT can read ok with meter but when running can drop away. I did notice the spark was poor before the new stator was it. Good luck.
