there is only one correct way of measuring comp height on pistons.............
that IS.........from gudgeon pin centre to crown edge................................
there is NO "new money"way.........thats ball.x................
if you really considered things and thought it through properly you would realize that measurements done the "new money" way would not take into consideration gudgeon pin thickness etc.................

if 18mm gudgeon pin add one mm onto the new money number to get direct comparision with lammy piston

I shall plough my own furrow, as adding a 1 onto a number is quite easy 
seriously thou its far easier to measure the height with a gudgeon pin half in the piston than guessing where the centre of the hole is, only my opinion
