Gp lights

12v elec ign with vespa cdi. I've 100% got power coming the stator tested it with a bulb. It's got a brown wire carrying the power up to the headset. I read on af if I plug my wire with soldered bulb on the end into where the brown goes on the reggy an earth it the bulb should light ? I did this an have no light, so from what I can gather the reggys f@@ked ?

check the bulb on a known supply (car battery) try again,

So you have voltage going in the regulator but not coming out of it ?

Sounds like the regs popped then. Swap it with a known good one is the best way forward.
