Hi Gaz, I didn't do this conversion, I got Spanish forks, I could measure the collar and come back to you, remind me in a couple of days if I forget

Okay, mine are powder coated so allow for this, although there's plenty of room for tolerances, the height is 16.5mm and the outside diameter is 68.7mm, so aim for 16mm and around 68mm and you'll be fine.

Thanks for the pics and measurements Mike. Im right in thinking they are the correct Spanish ones in the pics that we need to copy? Sorry just being a bit thick...again. Im waiting on a password to be re-sent from photobucket and then i can hopfully get some pics up for advice before i start cutting bits off my forks.....

Okay, hope these come out. Below are some pics of the Indian Li with turning mudguard now off. Also the pic of the turning mudguard im using with the locking ring attached. Am I correct in saying that the dust cover needs to be discarded then a ring (as per soul surfers measurements) welded in its place?

And heres on of the scoot itself, will be running as is for a while. In process of seeing if points are up to it before I weigh out on a 12v. Im trying to do this as cheap as poss as i seemed to spent a small fortune on the RB. At some point in the future Id like to put an rb250 in.....but thats for another day....

It looks like you just need to weld the collar on your forks and you're good to go

You don't have a dust cover on your forks, it's on the frame, this will need removing for the forks to fit.
