It has a sito + and standard carb and I get 70+ mpg, it will sit all day at 65/70 and its a great engine.
But I'm changing it for a 220 polini that Al (Diablo) says will make 19bhp, more cc more bhp makes for an easier ride

And your sig says "ive learnt my lesson, leave them standard". :D

Av been thinkin what to do with me t5 as its fitted with a px125. ( me neighbour has a px with a t5 motor :D )

Anyway its an old rebuilt p125x lump and pulls 60 but would prefer a standard old p2 so i can hit 70 and not have to change down fer hills.
But i wont be paying £1700 quid for a new motor from wsp and even a used one i might aswell buy a full spanish like baz.
Though i cant justify having 4 scoots.

So i think my route next year will be to slap a 180 kit on .

Mind you i would like a rough n ready scoot fer winter :)

Cosa maybe

Whilst not entirely technical, the wife followed me up to kelso rally this year in the car (after we'd broke the lammy!) on my standard vespa , she clocked me just below 70 mph , and most of the time sitting at 60mph , speedo was in kmh and wasn't paying that much attention to it as felt really slow compared to my ts1!

Im not sure on what you implying but i stand by what i say no standerd p2 will do a gps speed of 70mph and yesmost car speedos are roughly 5mph out also

My tuned 210's (had a few ) sit at about 74 gps on motorway /duel carraige ways , thats with kit carb pipe porting etcHad 78 GPS top but wouldnt stayat that for long.
My Standard P2 engine will sit at about 62 in standard form depending on wind, road , tyres & my weight!!!
