in gear, clutch in, won't roll back??

Rebuilt Indian gp 150, running ok, nearly coming up to MOT (when i sort the back brake), just noticed i started her up in the garage and when the scoots in gear with the clutch in, the thing will not roll backwards? any ideas, clutch?

Are the side panels on or off? if they are off, check that the panel clips are not catching in the back tyre.

yes happened to me before ,it was the kickstart catching first gear as stated..

yeah, i think it clicks, does it matter? And the remedy? case cover off and... Thanks again gents

check the reference pin on the kickstart piston for wear and may need to adjust ramp on side case

Take the kickstart pedal off first,if the shaft turns back when you do then youve had the lever one spline too high.
Assuming that it turns back just put the lever back on and it will be fine.
If it doesnt turn back then you need to take the sidecasing off and have a look at the plunger,if its a GP sidecase then it wont have a ramp to adjust so its probably worn around the plunger pin and sitting too far out.
