Are the side panels on or off? if they are off, check that the panel clips are not catching in the back tyre.
will it not move at all ,or get progressively harder then stops?

check the reference pin on the kickstart piston for wear and may need to adjust ramp on side case

Take the kickstart pedal off first,if the shaft turns back when you do then youve had the lever one spline too high.
Assuming that it turns back just put the lever back on and it will be fine.
If it doesnt turn back then you need to take the sidecasing off and have a look at the plunger,if its a GP sidecase then it wont have a ramp to adjust so its probably worn around the plunger pin and sitting too far out.
