Gilera Runner VXR 200 Cutting out problems

Hope someone can help with problems im having with a runner VXR 200 when coming to a stop the engine cuts out or if it does keep running it then cuts out when trying to pull away again is this a common problem has anyone else had this happen thanks in advance

CHECK THAT THE AIR FILTER ISN'T BLOCKED OR REMOVE IT AND THEN TRY IT....
