I bought a few of the DT175 pistons from Dave Webster back in the 80's which were all welded.
I don't know of a version without windows, but I started using a reed valve with a little additional porting and much larger inlet timing, it made the engine more ridable with no spit back.
Might be an option ?

if you cant get one you can use a cr250 piston, but you would need to change the rod for one with an 18mm smallend bearing
