Series 2 cutdown nightmare

Thanks for the nice words again - it's just got sorted, not in time for the IOW maybe but I've got a reg number now.
I have to say the DVLA in Brighton have gone way beyond the call of duty to sort this one out, they couldn't inspect in Brighton because the bloke's on holiday so rang round the other offices and put me onto Wimbledon. The bloke up there said just bring it up and he'd have a look sameday even if I was late and stuck in traffic.
Long story short - basically someone had tried to register a Lambretta with almost the same number and failed the DVLA inspection as they were a bit suspicious so the number was flagged to have an inspection when it came up again.
Maybe on IOW Sunday - fourstroking/running in/falling apart like a clowns car.

You probably have gotten this before, but this is the sort of cutdown I would do, where the ridge extends over the wheel and dissapears gradually. I love that period look of it, looks very different than with a Series 1 horncast, perhaps a bit thinner and discrete.
