These are some low quality shots of my cutdown which has been 2 years in the making - started off as just a frame bought on the ferry to Beetsugar - been an absolute nightmare of out of line endplates, rear hub cones, gears, badly machined barrel, etc etc etc but MOT'd last week and just needed to get registered to find that the frame number is already being used so starts the battle with the DVLA, the IOW was just within reach only for defeat to be snatched from the jaws of victory, I'm as philosophical as the next man but life's a bitch.

Cool ferry, I normally just pick up some beers and a really big toblerone on the ferry.

Hope you get the frame number issue sorted out. Who did the work on the leggies for you? I need something similar doing on my SSDT replica.

Thanks for the kind replies - I've done everything myself except for a bit of top coat, the horncast and legshield are indeed LD, the legshields were twisted through 90 degrees and had no floor so it was loads of welding to rust and filler and time, luckily I only pay myself at 14p an hour, honestly every part of this scooter has been a battle.
I'll update on the dVLA if i ever hear back.

I'm liking this a lot. Not many S2 cut downs around. The LD parts are a nice touch. Hope your able to get it legit and enjoy it they way you want.
