Expansion on Series 2 with GP engine?

some series II engines only have 6mm studs in the chaincase for the main exhaust bracket, always worth drilling and tapping these out to 8mm as series IIIs are

Well the chap from ScootRS informed me that the S2 and S3 are the same...with the exception of the end piece as pointed out above by Lofty ^^^^^

So we shall see, as I've ordered one (S2) + carb + other assorted bits...

THIS was prior to reading various 'interesting' comments from the owner on other threads here and tbh it may have gone differently had I bothered to read that lot first!

Ah well, its only money eh!
