Fork spring height issue

Is there a height that the springs should sit at?

To me this looks too high, even though I don't have spring stops in.

By the way, don't get excited. That's not an extremely large condom in the back ground it's a rubber glove

Who's springs are they and how long are they?

Progressive fork springs from SR @ 215mm

My MB ones measure 223mm but these have been used so may have compressed a little. Shine a small torch down to have a look. Does the rod pass through the spring and into the hole at the top okay?

There was old Stops inside the forks, when I originally thought there wasn't. Thanks to a previous post by yourself with the mention of a 12mm threaded bar and the help of lammy mark bringing round a 12mm bar, the problem was solved!
