Has the drive side oil seal gone????

Symptoms........

Smokey exhaust, oily plug, when covering/blocking exhaust at tickover dosen't cut out (JL exhaust badly leaking anyhow) rev's didn't increase when draining gearbox oil but oil was frothy and light green in colour

I haven't smelt the exhaust

Not white smoke but clouds of blue smoke.

I haven't put too much 2 stroke oil in mix either, before someone states this.

Gear box oil dosen't smell of petrol, but as I say light green in colour and frothy

generally if the D/S seal has gone, the smoke will be white and smell bleedin' awful.

Is the crankcase oil level dropping?

Not noticably, I usually put in 500ml. I drained it out into a seperate tub. When I get chance I will put this into old g/box oil bottle and see if if any has been lost
