Following on from Yam-lams post re TS1 mixtures i thought i would start one for RBs

I ran my RB20 on 4% fully synth while running in, then after a dyno run and asking around, i started using 3%
But on the way back from IOW last year i had crank faliure :o this was put down to the AF crank bearing cage collapsing ( however it had been welded after it twisted previously)
Then after reading the revue of the rb250 in scootering Ray said to go no lower than 4% due to the inlet feeds going straight into the transfers and bypassing the crank. This made me think about it more :?
So what are people using and what sort of mileage have you done?

Russ
When i was young my Mom said "if you haven't got anything nice to say, say nothing at all " ..................... and people wonder why I'm quiet around them !

4% ish Rock Oil Synth 2, Taffspeed 6 port 250, not sure how many miles but in the thousands, been together for 20 months, few rallies and a few sprint meetings still as good as the day it was built. went with 4% because of AF's recommendations and as they were new kits I don't see how you could complain if it went wrong and not followed their advice, had no trouble so stuck with it.
