hi,

i have an early 90's indian gp200. i thought i had a gp crank but after inspecting the mag side bearing setup i found that it had a NU205 bearing fitted as well as the bearing distance piece?
what measurements or characteristics should i look out for to best determine what crank i have.

cheers

Sounds like the same configuration that Innocenti used on the GP150 (GP crank taper but NU205 bearing + spacer)

the sholder that the oil seal sits on will be either 10mm or 13mm the latter will only acept a 205 and is a 150 crank

shocky,

the shoulder that you are referring to, is this where the bearing collar sits on?
if this is the case, i have measured it and it is 10mm. Also measured the crank pin and is 22mm and big end width is 15.5mm.

cheers

its not were it sits on its were it butts up to , you have the crank cheek then the inner mag side oil seal journal then the flywheel spigot , its the journal that you measure should be 10mm or 13mm and 33mm wide ,as you have said the big end is 22mm so this dictates its a 200 crank as the ones with a 19.9mm pin are the 13mm journeled ones
