There were seven clutches made and there are two of these left, so if you're seriously interested contact Richard at

There are plenty of spares to support them too, steels/alloys, friction plates etc. Other parts will last for many years as they are heavily constructed and have wide areas of contact. The crown wheels have a press fit bush which should last until the teeth wear out, but this is made from EN24 so will probably last decades as will the other parts.
An 8 plate version has been designed but will only be produced if enough interest is there to make 10-15 units when the cost would be £550-£600. The 8 plate design uses the same friction plates, alloys, centre hub and release plate. The top plate is the same but a little thinner. The crown wheel and spider are slightly deeper and the release plate and bearing have some minor changes. This will handle any Lambretta or hybrid motor with ease.
There are many advantages of this clutch over other similar ones but I'm not going to start a p1551ing contest or leave myself open to criticism, all I can say is speak to Richard and he can answer all your questions. Those who know Richard and his GT kit will be aware that all angles are covered and the engineering and quality is superb, on top of that the aftersales service is second to none.
This really seems to be a fit and forget clutch that will last for many many years to come.
BTW all prices include VAT if applicable
