Well… I used to work with Jason Dawe (Top Gear 2002), that is how close I will ever be from James May, probably…!

Did you know you could polish dampers as well??

lighter and cheaper than chrome... lasts 3 to 4 days depending on weather conditions.

you say a TS1 piston weighs 336 grams..
was that WITH piston rings,gudgeon pin ,clips and maybe small end bearing...?

What's the ideal width and angle for a chamfer on the outside of the skirt?

10/15 degrees and 2mm
others may do it slightly different,but so long as you have some sort of chamfer on there as opposed to a sharp square edge,it will help lube....as the square edge scrapes oil off.

Sorry I was away; YES, it was including everything (even the plastic bags), and it was slightly over 336 gralms; 339.49

This is a good unit; it tells you the difference between a 72 main jet and a 75 main jet; 0,03 gramms :shocking:
