can anyone tell me the diameter of the steel bar that is fitted in to both sides of the headstock for throttle and gearhousing to fit onto as my gear side has snapped and needs a peice welding thanks

yes mate the steel that is fitted into headstock looks like handlebars when you take everything off the headstock

And splice a piece on the end to replace the damaged bit. Had that done on a S3 gear support that had rusted badly at the end.RICSPEED wrote:most enginering workshops would be happy to sell you some
