I only know what you have told me tony, you said it can be tuned to be a tourer or a racer I dont argue this. And no I have not seen it apart from in the pictures of the prototype and what camlam say they expect from it. Its also on You Tube. 30-40 bhp?
No, Nick . I said its a tour type kit but said Charlie could tune it for a more race type tune if required.

I was referring to the demographics of buyers not the kits. The post I was responding to was by my brother so i know where he falls and so I know his taste in motors is not along the lines of the RB which I have test ridden at JB tuning and so has he and we both dismissed it.
we do not know on here who is your brother

So that leaves the super monza, sadly its not for me as i have a battery tray which i intend on keeping but i thought it was a good alternative to the ts1 and rb. A monza 240 was an option i considered when I tested the rb v the ts1. The battery tray was in my mind when I said about a big block gt kit or rt with a reed.
so after all your posts about the quest for torque etc you decide a battery tray is more important. I can understand keeping the bike as original as poss but you want to fit a tuned engine to it anyway. Why dont you fit use the frame with the ts1 motor in?

Its been a while for these new kits but so what? Development takes time.Production takes time. With the super monza the development work is done ..so its now down to the production people. Also with the super monza it wasnt just a new barrel and 'we'll try a jl race on it' and oh what does a mikuni go like... It was everything designed to work together..there are some very clever ideas in there never yet applied to a lambretta. I dont think there is a kit that will deliver its power like this will on the market as long as its true to its correct specification as designed.
