Sean B.S just a query on your choice of exhausts. Why do you propose the SS type? After so much reading and talking to ppl, I decided to change mine to an NK mild steel, due to SS not being complient for want of a better word with 2 Strokes, I have had a lot of leaks and problems with mine over 2-3yrs, mainly it leaking. Even using red gasket seal the thing just kept leaking somewhere. I thought maybe the variable contraction/expansion of mild steel was the way to go.
I dont know - maybe it was me - probaly was but so far no probs with the NK.
Just curious why you use it - i took it as it was a cheap version of a PM so to speak??
Finaly, seeing my setup in the start of the thread, which already has the lightest flywheel around - being plastic, lol. how much more speed could i pick up with my beedspeed (indian i assume) "stage 4"setup (using the term stg 4 with care here) ?
So I am wondering, already having a "175" although GP150 gearing, what tuning are you doing above the basic blueprinting - perhaps a bit more, which i have, and matching my inlet/exhaust ports, - i already have a bigger carb. Would this be a gain?? if so, in what respect? Pls dont take this the wrong way my 125 hond 4 stroke did 84mph. But i would like to know how much difference i would get - approx : i am aware nothing is a given in lambrettas and tuning
