Engine: 175, a Li 150 cylinder bored out to 175, no modification to ports.
Exhaust: BGM Clubman
Carb: Dellorto(scootopia) SH2/22
Main jet: 142
Pilot: 50
GP200 slide & atomizer
Smooth rubber elbow and good quality foam filter. (Binned the airbox)
At around-town driving, 1/2-3/4 throttle my if was white with a 123 main, and stayed like that as kept increasing. Not until 140 I started to get colour and at 142 it's perfect. It seams like a huge main jet, but on this primitive carb It's the ratio of atomizer to main that is important.

Just checking the numbers on my TMX27 carb (Imola 186) that I posted on here in 2009. I see posts virtually every day on Faecebook about jetting PHBH carbs and the hundreds (if not thousands) of variations you can come up with between needle, slide and atomiser. Never had those issues with my Mikuni. My TMX jetting worked on day one (pre 2009) and has never been touched, even had it dyno'd without needing any AFR adjustment. One thing I did do though was that I had to remove the power jet (260 main, 50 power jet = 310) as the feed pipe rubbed on something and wore a hole in it, so I temporarily fitted a 310 main and blocked off the power jet. It runs just the same, had that dyno'd too. Also have a Mugello 225 that I could never get to run well on a 26mm PHBH, so much so that I holed the piston after leaning it off too much doing plug chops (maybe the M55 isn't the best place to do plug chops), I didn't have a spare piston but had a TS1 piston and an LTH reed valve and inlet so thought less stick that on. Figured I'd built it correctly but I couldn't get it to start with the PHBH car,b convinced it was that I took the Mikuni off the Imola and tried that, fired up straight away, again not touched the jetting and several years later it's still on there running great on the odd occasion that I do any riding. There's a moral in there somewhere but I've given up trying to convert people years ago.
