Multimeter setting ????

Want to check my sil stator as she fires then dies straight away got myself a multimeter set it to ohms I know but what setting to get a correct reading 2m 2ook 20k 2k 200 ??

Set it on 200k and check white to earth should be infinity or nothing red to earth 95 to 110 and green to earth 480 to 515

Will earthing the wires to the back of the mag housing be ok ???
