I've an Italian GP150 totally standard 6v AC (non-battery), when i kick this up & it is only on ignition (first right turn) the speedo light is on, it wasn't before but is now, can only assume some wires maybe touching after working on it.
Anyone who's more electrically minded got any ideas?
Thanks.

Welcome aboard.
Sounds like your black speedo bulb wire is connected directly to the wire bringing power up you your headset junction box - probably a brown but maybe purple.
The speedo light should be connected to the black from the switch and the one that goes to the tail lamp.
