Wont idle!

Casa 185 fitted with a 25mm phbl (straight out of the box) through a drilled airbox. Pipe is AF clubman. Starts fine, runs ok, but will only tick over fast with a little pressure on the throttle. Idle screw seems to have no effect??

have you checked that the choke is in the off position, and the plunger is all the way down with a little bit of free play on the cable ?

Sometimes the spring becomes coilbound on dellorto,s preventing you winding it in enough to raise the slide,worth a look,if so just shorten the spring a tad
