Hi all,

I am going along the lines of a standard Indian 200 barrel, a Scootopia clubman and a standard carb with the elbow and a filter(not breathsweet) on top. Running with no panels.
In the article Darrell states that he ends up jetting with a 55 pilot and a 175 main. Where do I get a 175 main as all usual places seem to only stock up to a 140.

Can anyone advise?

Thanks

John

Sounds like you might have to get one drilled out if that is the case.

not disputing the fact at all but 175 does seem mighty big on a "standard" carb. Not a mistype?

No I went in and rechecked the article. Definitely a 175! Yes I though rather large too, but I found them on Readspeed site.
Darrell may come on and confirm the size.

Thanks

I asked the same question, as I had my doubts, and it was confirmed as a 175. Eurocarb (Dellorto importer in Reading) have genuine jets in the full range, up to 175 and beyond.

If they won't post a small part like a single jet let me know as Eurocarb is a only a small detour for me on my way from work.

Thanks all.
I have placed an order with Readspeed, I will call them in the morning to check it is in stock.
175 is huge compared to standard, but if that is what it needs then fine.

This is for my EuroLam bike so I need it to get there and back.

George, if I have no success then I will drop you a pm. appreciated.

I run a Casa 210 top end on a big block engine case.I use an Ancillotti type exhaust from scootopia and a 22mm scootopia carb,I have a 48 pilot jet and a 135 main jet in the carb,it all runs through a standard airbox with a standard filter eliment fitted and it runs on the rich side.I dont think it would even start with a 55 pilot and a 175 main jet.
