Hi all,
I remember seeing somewhere a nice steering upgrade for Lambrettas using cone bearings rather than the traditional type. I'm sure Taffspeed made them But I can't find any via a google search. Could anyone point me in the right direction please. Thanks in advance Pete.

Me either , most of the weight of the frame etc is on the lower bearing which is where an upgrade should be done.Donnie wrote:seen them but dont get it

the bottom bearing has much bigger balls so is stronger, plus you can always add lots of balls and no cage, top however is made with very small balls so isnt as strong, probably aimed at scooters with a good front disc brake, and riders who ride faster, braking hard from high speed will put some load on them little bearings, as do bumpy roads and pot holes, its something i might use in the future
