I have a few possibilities on a replacement crank so no worries there.

On a more positive note I have arranged access to a blaster on a DIY basis.. a small one which the frame can go in and maybe a walk in also. It uses fruit stone.. I guess they mean walnut, I tried the air box as a test piece and the paint fell off.

I'm making my list of required parts and Cambridge appears to be a 1 stop shop but has high postage.. will need to sit down and compare totals.

I am on holiday so no updates for a while but whilst I am away the engine casing and various ofter parts on the frame are being welded.

As I don't have access and couldn't find the info online can someone tell me the bolt size for the stand mounting bolts please, Is it M8?

Thanks in advance.

It does look good. Mind you I can't even tell where it was repaired. Was it the linished bit?

Yep exactly, I will blast it next week and should look perfect without any hint of a repair.

I'm pulling in a few contacts to get them clear anodised or acid dipped so end result should be quite nice.

Just saw the casing damage caused by a loose rim bolt isn't here and will further explain the above pic.
