Evening!

Just been for a spin on the scoot and noticed that it is idling much higher than usual - about 3000 rpm - constant, not increasing. Adjusting the idle screw is having not impact whatsoever - could it be an air leak or something else?

It could be an air leak.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking - I have a leak down tester so will have a test over the weekend to rule it out. As I will have to take the pipe off it'll be a good chance to swap the front sprocket

Found it! Just had a closer look at the carb to check the slide wasn't sticking and tried to twist it to check it was still on tight and the rubber split! It's only been on a couple of months

Ok- next question - Who does the best carb rubber for the TMX35 ???

Thanks :-)

Will check tomorrow - Chiselspeed put it on a couple of months ago when I had her dyno'd there.

Are you sure nothing's pushing the carb putting stress on the rubber or the jubilee clip has cut it ?

I have a feeling the jubilee clip cut it - it was on very tight.
