Halogen light conversion - can I use this?

Bought this a while back. Fancy fitting it this weekend to my GP but I seem to remember reading somewhere that I can't use it with a SIP speedo. Scooter hasn't got a battery just a Varitronic ignition. Will it work? Any thoughts? Cheers.

And the Varitronic ignition should be ok I presume?

The ignition coil is not the coils that the lights use, So it won't affect your variatronic ignition, I have one of these in both my gps and they work fine, actually it looks like the ones I sell, they give a very good headlight, I've got a battery on one and ac on the other, both have a very bright light, mine don't have the sip speedo though, an led rear light is an advantage as it will give more power to the headlamp

Thanks all - fitted yesterday and works spot on. The only problem is that the rear brake light isn't getting much juice now. It is very dim

either a led bulb, which isnt very good, better with one of these, i make them myself.
