Hi all, I'm fitting a BGM rear brake outer and it seems too long. Please see attached pictures.

My question is will it be ok this long or should I shorten it slightly and replace the end ferrule? Thanks in advance Pete.

My opinion is "leave it well alone" it will be fine.

I cut about half inch off my outer it wasnt a bgm cable though. Think you need bit of extra length on outer for engine movement.

When you fit the cable plate behind the choke lever it will probably be the right length and keep it away from the plug.
