Has anyone got any tips or techniques for removing the bottom bearing cone from the frame? On my last one I heated the frame and banged the outer edge until first, the cone cover split and broke off then eventually the cone itself came out, but it was a right so and so to do. Does anyone have a better way of doing it? Is there a removal tool? Thanks.

I use a long metal drift down the frame tapping gently either side of the cone if tight I use a bit of heat
As my Dad used to say "Each to their own lad"

If you get "Sticky's manual" it tells you the best way's to remove the cone on pages 212-213.
