I was always for the hang it on a hook brigade the crank has to be at its longest stroke irrespective of the angle of dangle. But if you need a draw full of fancy tools so be it. As for the scientific slide rules trigonometry and the like I must have been thinking about woman or a new GP when we did that at school.

strange that we can produce stainless steel bolts but haven't yet got a decent shove down the sparkplug hole a decent device for sorting TDC lol......casa 305 here I come !!
