That is a good point. I placed a new woodruff key when I rebuilt the crank. It doesn't want to stick in place well. It mooves easily on its slot up and down but not sideways, just up and down when the flywheel isn't on it. Is that the problem you think? I had the crank rebuilt and the woodruff key is new, why would it do that?dapper wrote:First thing I'd check is that the flywheel hasn't moved on its taper.
