hi all could anyone tell me why myT5 classic choke will not pull out no more than 4 mill.it starts ok weather its a hot or a cold day.i assume this 4 mill is making no difference to the choke. so whats stopping this from pulling out. :?: any input would be great

Whip the carb box cover and air filter off then you can see what happens when you pull the choke out. Failing that it's tank out to check the outer cable is correctly sat in the tube.

cheers ive check carb all is as it should be at that end of the cable...... pulling the choke is not moving anything at the carb end so i suspect like you say its behind the choke knob so its tank out time.now where did i put that hammer.

try a bit of penetrating oil first......

I've tried that...infact I even thought about getting mole grips on it and giving it a bit of how's ya father :) but thought better of it
.so like as been said I think the tank will have to come off

whip the plunger out and give it a dam good clean ;)
